This globe is operated by an electronically controlled magnetic system, floating in mid-air, and colored LED lights make it clearly visible in the dark.
SETTING UP TIPS:
Use both hands, slowly raise the globe towards the magnet at the top of the frame with an auxiliary tool (included in the package) placed between the frame and the globe. You will feel the globe get very light in your hands as the magnet takes over. At this sweet spot (right around 1/4" from the top magnet), move your hands and the auxiliary tool off the globe gently as the magnet takes over. To get it to spin, once it starts to float, give it a little spin by either lightly blowing the globe or gently carefully spin the globe to rotate smoothly, it will spin for a long time. No need to touch it to get it going again. Just give it a blow and is back to spinning. Spinning it with your hands may be too rough to knock the globe out of the magnetic sweet spot and may fall. Please see the provided pictures for visual step by step direction.
The unit can work without being plugged in, though there will be no light, no energy expended, however, the lighting really adds a lot to the overall look depending on your need.
Note: Be sure to float on a horizontal tabletop. If the tabletop is not flat, it will not float up, or the ball will shake. Do not place the product base on an iron plate. There must be no large area of iron metal within 20cm around the base.

To avoid generating extra CO2 during transit, our intention is to limit the distance our products travel by consolidating majority of our products in a fulfillment center near our factory, then shipping out orders directly to you. Eliminating intermediary fulfillment facilities in the countries where our products are sold might mean that it takes a little longer for your order to arrive, however, we think it is worth saving our mother earth.
